    I found it a little odd that the author, who includes quotes in boxes on pages throughout the book, quoted herself an awful lot Still, I continued skimming through the travel tips, which are really about as common sense as you could get That is, until I got to the page where she recommends a writing basic vocabulary words in another language ON YOUR ARM, and b wearing a fanny pack, because that will make you less of a target for thieves Now, point A is ridiculous, but point B COME ON.Need I found it a little odd that the author, who includes quotes in boxes on...

    This is obviously not a literary book it s just a little book with tips and advice for female travellers particularly ones going solo I read this in preparation for a trip to Europe that I plan on taking, alone Definitely inspiring and helpful

    Some decent tips, particularly if traveling alone, but some of this is also common sense I d recommend checking it out from the library or sitting down for a short read in Barnes and Noble rather than buying it, you can find what your looking for by skimming it in about 15 minutes.

    I just skimmed this because I am not traveling in the way she is talking about non outdoors any time soon, but her advice are great I wish I read this prior to some of my own traveling experiences, especially to India Definitely worth checking out will make you mustbrave as a solo female traveler.

    Maybe I read these books for women because I think I m trespassing on forbidden territory, but this one also is full of good advice Much of it is good advice for men as well as for women Everyone, not just women should know about this before they hit the road.
